I cannot fault Jacks work and professionalism. He went above and beyond to ensure to make sure the job was done right. He spoke with the neighbour prior to the fence work and put a temporary bunting fence up to keep their dog in. I’m really happy with both fences Jack has done and have booked him to come and put a path in at the front of the house.

Jack has just been back to complete the 2nd half of our paving project. Once again he turned up on time and did a fantastic job. Attention to detail is great. Nothing is too much trouble. I would recommend him to anybody.

Brilliant from start to finish, we needed a tiered patio area approximately 30m squared. Jack worked with us on materials and the works to get a budget that was fair and affordable. He turned up when he said he would and did exactly what he said he would do. He grafted from the minute he turned up until he went home, working in all weathers when he could quite easily and reasonably have expected to down tools. The quality of his work is outstanding and of the highest order and I couldn’t be happier with the end result. It’s been so refreshing to see a tradesman with such pride in his craft, I already have other jobs lined up for him. The only negative is that he cost me double the job in tea and bacon butties but it was money well spent! He is professional but very approachable and friendly. I would highly recommend him to any prospective customers.

Quality work and great service

Absolutely thrilled with my new Indian sandstone patio. Despite the coldest December for years, Jack and Jay worked extremely hard to complete the works efficiently. Jack is extremely profession and has fantastic attention detail. They kept everywhere as clean as possible and were very considerate to my neighbours. I would highly recommend Jack’s business, and have further works planned next year.

The work we needed done was not a massive project, but it required some no-standard solutions and is not the ideal time of year to do it. After we were let down at the last minute by someone else, Jack could only fit us in at the start of November. It turned out better than we could have hoped for. From quoting for the job to the final invoicing, he was straightforward, reliable and willing to be flexible about the inevitable small snags and unforeseen changes that arise in the execution of a project. His pricing is very fair for the all-round high standard delivered. Great care was taken to minimise mess and treat property respectfully, cleaning up thoroughly before leaving. He and Jayson were organised, competent, hard working, on site when promised and always communicated well. The fact that they are also friendly and cheerful was a bonus. We are delighted with the difference their efforts have made, and Jack would be our first call if we needed anything else done.

Jack laid two patios for me in grey Indian sandstone with a block paved lawn border. I was delighted with how it turned out and the professional finish. Jack was a pleasure to deal and went above & beyond to accommodate some short notice changes. I’d definitely recommend Jack and in fact, many of my neighbours now plan to use him.

J Wilson Construction were everything you hope for from a contractor, We hired them to complete a row of fencing down the side of our property and couldn’t be happier with the result, They were quick, efficient and completed the work to a high quality. Jack and Jay made an extremely efficient team. They were always cheerful and they worked very hard. The job of laying down sleepers around the lawn and completely removing and putting in a new patio went without a hitch. Jack and his colleague did a great job. Polite, friendly, respectful of property and totally professional and so hard working. They put a fence up round my back garden, there was a lot of brambles and shrubbery in the way, but nothing was too much trouble, and they tidied up after themselves too. Jack was recommended to me via a builder contact, once booked I had to wait a year to get him on site (speaks for it self), but wow was it worth it!! I can genuinely say, Jack and his team are the best contractors I’ve had on site. I’m just finishing a large renovation project and needed 170 Sqm meters of drive removed and paved. Very competitive quote. Ultimately they turned up on time, delivered what they had promised and completed the job in the time, working so hard, but to a exceptional standard and left the site clean. Polite in all aspects to my neighbours during the works and discussing all design tweaks past me, not because it was easier (like a lot of trades), but because it would look better. In all honesty, if you are looking for any sort of landscaping I wouldn’t even bother getting other quotes. I can’t recommend or rate these guys highly enough.

One of the best things about a great contractor is that not only do they quote competitively but they listen to what the customer wants, they are reliable, friendly and really want to do a good job that leaves the customer happy. Jack installed a new fence for us. He advised us on the fence that would work best in our garden, arranged the parts for us, and put the fence up so quickly! It looks great and is really strong. He was really tidy and professional. Definitely look forward to having him back to lay some slabs.

Jack carried out extensive work to level off our garden. Built raised beds including an intricate one to accommodate a statue. Built arches, fencing and gazebo with new floor, laid slabs and turf. The work was carried out to an exceptionally high standard, nothing too much trouble. Would have no hesitation in recommending Jack and his colleague Jason.

J Wilson has just finished laying slabs and a new lawn in my garden, i can honestly say it looks amazing 2 different levels patios and a walkway all round the garden. I should really start this review by saying that we want to keep Jack to ourselves and not share him with anyone else out there ... !!!! However, that would be very selfish of us and I do not think it would fit into Jack's work ethos. Jack's work is exceptional, he gives the customer what they want and he does this by communication, a trait long lost in some tradesman today. He ended up starting a week early due to the good weather. He arrives on time everyday and keeps you informed of the progress of the job. Jack came to lay our Indian black limestone slabs for our patio and our new garden room. He has made a fabulous job of all of it.
