Project 2

I cannot fault Jacks work and professionalism. He went above and beyond to ensure to make sure the job was done right. He spoke with the neighbour prior to the fence work and put a temporary bunting fence up to keep their dog in. I’m really happy with both fences Jack has done and have booked him to come and put a path in at the front of the house.

Jack has just been back to complete the 2nd half of our paving project. Once again he turned up on time and did a fantastic job. Attention to detail is great. Nothing is too much trouble. I would recommend him to anybody.

His is the second time we have had Jack to do some work for us, Jack is a really nice hard working trustworthy builder, the work we had done was two slab patios one being raised, he was really helpful sending us links to the suppliers so we could pick the right materials, and he also organised delivery and pick up of the skip hire we would definitely recommend Jack to all of our friends or anyone who reads this review. Thanks for a great job done Dave & Helen

Would highly recommend Jack to anyone. He has recently worked on a large patio area for us and finished it off with a fence and gate. It all looks amazing. Jack is friendly and professional from beginning to end. You dont need to do anything, he sorts out everything he needs to complete the project. Have already booked him for another project later in the year.

Jack gave us a competitive price to do some work. They turned up on time worked hard and did a great job. They were very friendly and nothing was to much trouble. I would certainly use them again.

Brilliant from start to finish, we needed a tiered patio area approximately 30m squared. Jack worked with us on materials and the works to get a budget that was fair and affordable. He turned up when he said he would and did exactly what he said he would do. He grafted from the minute he turned up until he went home, working in all weathers when he could quite easily and reasonably have expected to down tools. The quality of his work is outstanding and of the highest order and I couldn’t be happier with the end result. It’s been so refreshing to see a tradesman with such pride in his craft, I already have other jobs lined up for him. The only negative is that he cost me double the job in tea and bacon butties but it was money well spent! He is professional but very approachable and friendly. I would highly recommend him to any prospective customers.

Cannot recommend Jack enough. Prompt, honest and excellent work ethic. Will 100% use Jack again.

So pleased with my parents new patio and path, it's transformed the garden and accessibility. The standard of work is amazing and Jack works so hard for everything to be perfect. He went above and beyond whilst working for them and we all couldn't be happier. So impressed and can't recommend enough!

Quality work and great service

Absolutely thrilled with my new Indian sandstone patio. Despite the coldest December for years, Jack and Jay worked extremely hard to complete the works efficiently. Jack is extremely profession and has fantastic attention detail. They kept everywhere as clean as possible and were very considerate to my neighbours. I would highly recommend Jack’s business, and have further works planned next year.

The work we needed done was not a massive project, but it required some no-standard solutions and is not the ideal time of year to do it. After we were let down at the last minute by someone else, Jack could only fit us in at the start of November. It turned out better than we could have hoped for. From quoting for the job to the final invoicing, he was straightforward, reliable and willing to be flexible about the inevitable small snags and unforeseen changes that arise in the execution of a project. His pricing is very fair for the all-round high standard delivered. Great care was taken to minimise mess and treat property respectfully, cleaning up thoroughly before leaving. He and Jayson were organised, competent, hard working, on site when promised and always communicated well. The fact that they are also friendly and cheerful was a bonus. We are delighted with the difference their efforts have made, and Jack would be our first call if we needed anything else done.

Jack Wilson is thorough in his approach and ensures he gets the quote and work plan accurate. He is extremely hard working and his work is quick and neat. He provides good suggestions and points out improvements. Jack’s done a couple of jobs for me and I intend to ask him to quote for another job. I recommend Jack Wilson.

Jack transformed our back garden, laying two large patios , a new lawn and Path. Jack kept us updated at every stage and we found him reliable and hardworking. We couldn’t fault the quality of his work and would have no hesitation in recommending him. We would use him again for any future projects.

We are so pleased with our new patio. Jack was brilliant from start to finish. He was great at communicating every step of the way and was respectful of our property and neighbours. As for the quality of work, Jack and Jason worked fast, tidily and with flawless precision and the end result exceeded our expectations. We have already recommended Jack to 3 other homeowners that admired his work and would recommend to others looking to transform their outdoor space.

Jack and his work colleague Jay arrived early both days, were very organised, professional and finished the job beyond my expectations! Jack also accommodated an extra job for me whilst on site and I couldn’t be more pleased. I’d definitely recommend. I’m a chartered surveyor, Fellow of the RICS and have worked in property for 25 years, my standards are high! Well done J Wilson Construction

Form start to finish Jack and Jay have been nothing but hard working, professional and friendly. We love Jack’s attention to detail and really felt like he cared about the job he was doing and making it perfect for us, he treated the job on our garden as if it was his own garden. Simply outstanding and we could not be happier with the job the lads have done. I recommend J Wilson Construction to anyone and everyone. As the title says, if I could give 7 stars I would!

Good price & Excellent service. Fitted in the job very quickly

Jack laid two patios for me in grey Indian sandstone with a block paved lawn border. I was delighted with how it turned out and the professional finish. Jack was a pleasure to deal and went above & beyond to accommodate some short notice changes. I’d definitely recommend Jack and in fact, many of my neighbours now plan to use him.

J Wilson Construction were everything you hope for from a contractor, We hired them to complete a row of fencing down the side of our property and couldn’t be happier with the result, They were quick, efficient and completed the work to a high quality. I would recommend them to anyone requiring fencing work.

Jack and Jay made an extremely efficient team. They were always cheerful and they worked very hard. The job of laying down sleepers around the lawn and completely removing and putting in a new patio went without a hitch. Everything was checked and double checked to make sure it was absolutely right. Any changes I requested were implemented without any difficulty. The overall quality of their work was excellent and I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Would recommend this company. Jack has done a fantastic job of our fencing. Had a difficult task of removing large roots from an old hedge and fit gabions along the river bed and filled with large pebbles Everyone walking by comments how great it all looks. Always polite and happy with excellent communication skills. Fair price for absolute perfect job.

Just had Jack complete our patio, from start to finish he was excellent. Offered ideas throughout and kept us posted all the way through. Very hard working, great attention to detail and a very high standard. He was that good, we have booked him for more work later in the year. Would definitely recommend to anyone, you will not be disappointed. Both Jack and Jason were polite and professional throughout, and was a pleasure to deal with. Thanks Jack and Jason

Having had Jack to complete a few jobs in our garden, I have found his work of the highest standards along with his work ethic. He is always on time, always willing to talk and adapt to any changes. Always works clean,I would have no problem recommending his services to anyone requiring any form of garden work

Amazing job done by jack from JWilson construction transformed our front garden and done in 3 days great communication from start to finish an amazing price absolutely no negatives would highly recommend and we will definitely use again for our next project

Very professional with an eye for detail, new porcelain tiled patio with cobble edging looks great. Also new summer house base formed. Existing lawn dug out and levelled with quality top soil and turf. Highly recommended thanks Jack and Jason

Jack and his colleague did a great job. Polite, friendly, respectful of property and totally professional and so hard working. They put a fence up round my back garden, there was a lot of brambles and shrubbery in the way, but nothing was too much trouble, and they tidied up after themselves too. All done in just a couple of days I am already dragging Jack back to do more work. He charges a very fair price. I highly recommend Jack's business

Jack was recommended to me via a builder contact, once booked I had to wait a year to get him on site (speaks for it self), but wow was it worth it!! I can genuinely say, Jack and his team are the best contractors I’ve had on site. I’m just finishing a large renovation project and needed 170 Sqm meters of drive removed and paved. Very competitive quote. Ultimately they turned up on time, delivered what they had promised and completed the job in the time, working so hard, but to a exceptional standard and left the site clean. Polite in all aspects to my neighbours during the works and discussing all design tweaks past me, not because it was easier (like a lot of trades), but because it would look better. In all honesty, if you are looking for any sort of landscaping I wouldn’t even bother getting other quotes. I can’t recommend or rate these guys highly enough.

One of the best things about a great contractor is that not only do they quote competitively but they listen to what the customer wants, they are reliable, friendly and really want to do a good job that leaves the customer happy. I’ve had an excellent experience with J Wilson Construction and would definitely use their services again and recommend them. Great job 👍.

Jack installed a new fence for us. He advised us on the fence that would work best in our garden, arranged the parts for us, and put the fence up so quickly! It looks great and is really strong. He was really tidy and professional. Definitely look forward to having him back to lay some slabs.

We had our garden done last week by Jack and J, there were amazing! We had a new patio laid and a gravel area for a shed. From start to finish the process was smooth and professional and Jack was fantastic. I would not hesitate to recommend or use J Wilson construction again. We are so happy with the results! The guys are polite and were very respectful of our property. Thank you so much for all your hard work, we can’t wait to use it when the weather brightens up!

Jack carried out extensive work to level off our garden. Built raised beds including an intricate one to accommodate a statue. Built arches, fencing and gazebo with new floor, laid slabs and turf. The work was carried out to an exceptionally high standard, nothing too much trouble. Would have no hesitation in recommending Jack and his colleague Jason.

J Wilson has just finished laying slabs and a new lawn in my garden, i can honestly say it looks amazing 2 different levels patios and a walkway all round the garden. Jack was very professional and polite explained everything up front and provided a diagram of the job. Jack and Jay turned up on time every day and finished within the time scale first given his workmanship was to a very high standard, tidied as they worked cleaned up when they had finished. i had 3 quotes in total Jack pricing was very competitive and i am so please i decided on Jack to fulfil the makeover i would recommend Jack to anyone and will happily have Jack back to do other work. In the time Jack and Jay worked at my property i found them both very hard working, reliable, honest and had no concerns about leaving at my house whilst i was at work.

From initial discussions with Jack, he provided a prompt quote, and remained in contact with us throughout the job. Jack and Jason completed our Indian sandstone patio a couple of weeks ago — on time! which we are delighted with. Jack obviously knows his trade and this was portrayed in the quality of his work and the advice he gave us. Jack is extremely conscientious. We would not hesitate in recommending him and have already received our next quote for the next price of work!

I should really start this review by saying that we want to keep Jack to ourselves and not share him with anyone else out there ... !!!! However, that would be very selfish of us and I do not think it would fit into Jack's work ethos. Jack's work is exceptional, he gives the customer what they want and he does this by communication, a trait long lost in some tradesman today. Jack, with the help of Jason shows first class workmanship is still out there. We are more than satisfied by his standard of work. We would recommend him to anyone. A first class job done by a first class team ... Thank you Jack & Jason .. we look forward to see you again soon .. Kevin & Cheryl

Jack, with the help of Jay, have just completed laying new indian sandstone patio for us and it looks amazing :) Jack and Jay are both polite, cheery and very hardworking chaps. Jack offers a professional and bespoke service, he is honest and reliable and certainly knows his craft. His work ethic is incredible and he works meticulously and to a very high standard. From quote to finished job Jack advised and explained every step and organised everything from skip hire to materials being delivered at precise times. Would highly recommend giving Jack a call, we’ve already got another project lined up for him!

From planning to the completion of the makeover Jack was totally professional thoughtout the whole project. He took our ideas and made them work by adding his own suggestions and experience to produce a superb garden. Nothing was to much trouble, and we are so happy with the finished product. So much so that Jack will be returning with his very helpful sidekick Jay to undertake more work in the near future.

We could not be more pleased with the work Jack did. He transformed a garden of gravel into a green oasis. Jack was very thorough in his advice and support and was professional throughout. He also added a slabbed bbq area and repaired broken steps and created an entrance fit for wheeled access.

Apart from the excellent job it was a pleasure to have Jack do the work as he is a very polite and pleasant young man. We look forward to using him again for other work we will do in future for our front garden and would recommend him without question. Many thanks

This is the third time we’ve used Jack on our on-going project and it won’t be the last. Painstaking perfection and attention to detail and refuses to cut corners.. Highly recommended..

I would highly recommend Jack if you are thinking of having a new patio. Reliable, professional service at a very competitive price. Jack is a tradesman who “gets on” with the project. The Grey Indian Sandstone looks amazing.

I am thrilled with the result and the high quality of service, my new patio has completely transformed the outlook of my home and it is a great addition to the property.

Jack wills was a very hard working and sufficient with his time. He did everything I asked off him, making me a very happy and satisfied customer. Even after the job everything was spotless. I would recommend Jack wills services for anyone’s needs.

I was recommended jack by a friend and I was not disappointed, his quality of workmanship is outstanding and his ideas and knowledge of the job is fantastic, he is by far the best slab layer and ground worker I have used and he is now coming back for the second stage of our garden project he is a complete perfectionist.

When I need my paving doing I was recommended by a friend to contact Jack the owner operator of J Wilson Construction. I had already got my chosen paving slabs. Jack came round and gave me a quote for just the labour. He informed me of exactly what else to order ready for the job which was helpful even when at this stage he didn’t know if he had got the job or not. I accepted his quote and agreed a starting date. He ended up starting a week early due to the good weather. He arrives on time everyday and keeps you informed of the progress of the job. His standard of work and attention to detail is fantastic and we are well chuffed with the finished product. Jack is a honest nice lad. I was out in the garden a lot when Jack was working and he was happy to explain anything I asked (I am always interested how things are done). If you want a tradesman who does what he says he will, turns up when he says he will, does a fantastic job at what I class is a reasonable price then give Jack a call

First class job, this lads work ethic is unbelievable... highly recommended 👍🏽

Jack came to lay our Indian black limestone slabs for our patio and our new garden room. He has made a fabulous job of all of it. He works hard all day and is meticulous in his work never cutting corners. We are really happy with the finished product. I would highly recommend Jack to anyone needing a highly professional job.
